PRESCHOOL

The Preschool Ministry at the River is more than just baby-sitting for kids from birth through pre-k. We believe that God calls us to minister to even our littlest ones. The Preschool Ministry is often a child’s first experience in a group setting and also the first introduction to church life. What better opportunity to fill their hearts and minds with the love of God.

CHILDREN

The River has children that have grown up with multiple stimuli; therefore, a typical Sunday School approach will not work. We strive each week to provide experiences for children grades k-5 that are active, thought-provoking, and engaging. At The River, our children learn to love God and to share God’s love in a fun, safe, clean and well-staffed environment.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle school is no picnic. The Middle School Ministry at the River is a safe place for students to feel loved and accepted. It is a place where they can grow to trust God and understand Him. Through relationships, worship, fun, and Biblical teaching, we want to awaken a desire to know and be known by Jesus, and a desire to live the way that Jesus lived.

HIGH SCHOOL

Through the changes of school, friends, significant others and family, the River is committed to helping students grow in an overflowing relationship with Jesus Christ. This isn’t some boring Bible study. We are passionate about helping students experience Jesus in real life, engage in fun activities, and learn things that will change their perspective.

YOUNG ADULTS

Whether your working or going to college, you are welcome to come and learn more about God, meet new people, and enjoy some good food. We meet after church a couple of Sunday evenings a month for dinner and conversation. We would love for you to join us!

WOMEN

The Women’s Ministry at the River is about encouraging each other and strengthening our walk with Jesus through relationships and Bible study. We meet on Wednesday nights to eat, have fun and worship together, building new relationships along the way.

MEN

The Men’s Ministry at the River is about getting to know our true identities as followers of Jesus, and getting to know other men who follow Jesus. We get together every Wednesday evening to hang out, and to learn more about God and His Word.
